This project provided valuable experience in project planning, teamwork, and public art installation, while also creating a lasting contribution to the Durham community.

This beautiful piece was created through a partnership with the City’s Cultural & Public Art Program, Durham Parks and Recreation, and Durham YouthWorks—a summer program giving young creatives real-world experience. Go check out the work of Durham’s next generation of artists! The mural was guided by local artist Kiara Chatterjee and painted by Jada’ Bumpass, Kharisma Burrow, and Preston Kennedy.
